How do I schedule an appointment?

Do you offer evening sessions?
Yes, select clinicians offer evening appointments; ask when scheduling to find a time that works best for you.
Do you provide Telehealth?
Yes, we offer HIPAA-secure Telehealth sessions in Pennsylvania. You’ll receive a link in your email to sign up for our Portal to access this sessions..
What is your cancellation policy?
We encourage at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. No shows/ late-cancel sessions (8 or less hours before session will incur a $50 fee.

Scheduling & Appointments
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. What you share stays private--except in cases where disclosure is required by law (for example, harm to yourself or others). Confidentiality will be reviewed during your first session.
How do I know if therapy is working?
You may start noticing small changes--feeling calmer, more self-aware, or more hopeful. Progress is gradual and looks different for everyone. Your therapist will check in with you to make sure sessions are helping you move towards your goals.

Insurance & Billing
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most commercial insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Call to verify coverage before your first appointment by calling the Member Service line located on the back of your card.
Do I need to pay at the time of my appointment?
Yes, copays and self-pay fees are due at time of service--unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, check, cash, and money orders.
What if my insurance isn't accepted?
You may still be able to work with your therapist/ nurse practitioner as a self-pay client.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
A limited number of reduced-fee spots may be available. Please reach out to inquire about current availability.
I've never been to therapy before. What should I know?
It's completely normal to feel nervous before your first session. You don't need to prepare anything special-- just bring yourself! Your therapist will guide the conversation and create space for you to share at your own pace.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Complete your intake forms (if applicable) ahead of time, find a quiet/private space if meeting online, and consider jotting down what's been on your mind lately. That's all you need to start!
Do you work with children/ couples/ families?
Currently we serve teens and adults. Child and family services are part of our future expansion plans as we start to grow our clinical team.
What if I am in crisis or need immediate help?
We are unable to provide after-hours crisis services or emergency response outside of scheduled sessions. If you are in crisis or risk or feel unsafe, please call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest Emergency Room. You can also find crisis resources on our Resources page.

That depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients come for a few months, while others find long-term therapy most beneficial.

Your first session is about getting to know you--your background, current concerns and goals for therapy. Together, you and your therapist will discuss what you hope to gain from counseling and create a plan that feels right for you.

What to Expect
Medication Management
What can I expect during my first appointment with the nurse practitioner?
Our nurse practitioner will review your medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment.
How often will I meet with my provider?
Typically, follow up appointments occur every 4-6 weeks to monitor effectiveness and make adjustments as needed. Frequency may vary based on your treatment plan.
Can I do therapy and medication management at the same time?
Absolutely. Many clients benefit from combining both. Our clinicians coordinate care to ensure your treatment feels cohesive and supportive.
Are prescriptions ordered electronically?
Yes, our prescriptions are securely sent to your preferred pharmacy after each appointment.
